Testing things out

If you are a regular visitor to the Sweet Hope site you may have noticed photos and buy now buttons up and down. ?Don’t think you’ve missed the boat on ordering. ?I assure you, you have not. ?We are doing some testing on a new ordering system and the only way to test it is on the live site. ?Not my choice, but it is what we have to do. ?If for some reason you visit the site and see that truffles appear to be available please don’t try ordering. ?They WILL be available on November 9th.

In other testing news, the trusty husband and I reviewed the list of 36 flavors suggested and whittled it down to 9 that we thought sounded good. ?Hey, I never said this was a total democracy. ?There are something that we both said eww to. ?Not that your suggestions were bad. ?They were just things that we don’t like. ?Coconut being one of them. ?Sorry. ?Thing is, we are the ones making these and we have to be around all of the ingredients for 2 1/2 weeks straight. ?If it is something you don’t like the smell of it’s kind of hard to let it in your house.

I also decided to do a trial run on the 9 we did find interesting/appetizing. ?I made up small batches of the 9. ?I have to say, there are some that really surprised me. ?You guys did good. ?I then realized that I cannot possibly eat them all myself. ?So I recruited volunteer taste testers. ?I’ve already sent out emails to those I selected so don’t try to weasel your way in. ?If someone declines I have a back-up list too.

I’m not going to reveal the list of 9 because I don’t want people to be totally devastated that I didn’t pick their suggestion. ?There is always next year though.
