We made it to the great white north. It is not currenly white, but rather gray and cold. Hmmm. Much like Washington. Only when we left WA it was sunny and 80. I left sunny & 80 to come to cloudy and 50? What the hell was I thinking?
And let me just say the ass crack of dawn has absolutely nothing to offer. I didn’t even know there was a 4:00 a.m. until this morning. There is no 24 hour Starbucks between our house and the airport. To make matters worse there was no Starbucks in the terminal we were in either. I was forced to drink Seattle’s Best. Just ewww.
The boy did very well on the flight up. No crying. We basically fed him the entire time. Chewy stops the chatter and all. Me on the other hand… the little boy in the seat behind me kicked my chair the entire. feckin. flight. I would peer between the seats and shoot death rays out of my eyes at his dumbass father sleeping as his child sang at the top of his lungs and kicked my chair.
But we made it and that’s all that matters. No photos yet. Unless you want to see photos of a sign I took at a parking lot. 75 cents an hour for parking in downtown Anchorage. Hell you can’t fart in Seattle for 75 cents. Damn this place is cool.
glad that you made it I am jealous someday I will go there…it costs a lot more from Chicago to get there…can’t wait for pictures!!
Now, technically, Seattle’s Best is (owned by) Starbucks. But yes, it’s a different roast. Apparently one you don’t like … 😉

Hope the sun comes out. It’s supposedly very beautiful there and I know you’re like me and have a hard time seeing the splendor while the gray is present.
