Ready, Set, Vote

I’m shocked.  I put up the voting poll on Saturday evening (could have been Sunday morning) and I’m the only one to vote.  Wow, no one really does read my blog anymore.

It was a tough job, but our taste testers from around the world have sampled the new flavors for this year and narrowed it down to 4.  Those 4 flavors join 4 previously sold flavors to make up the final 8 for voting.  Here are your options:

Irish Cream:

Milk chocolate centers combined with Irish Cream liqueur, coated in dark chocolate dusted with light cocoa powder. (previously sold in 2009)

Spicy Jamaican:

Chocolate ganache combined with Bacardi rum, vanilla syrup and chili powder, coated in Dark Chocolate and finished with freshly grated nutmeg.  (new 2011 flavor)

Cherry:

Dark chocolate centers combined with cherry syrup, coated in dark chocolate and topped with a dried cherry. (This was a limited edition run for Valentine’s Day in 2010)

Pumpkin Spice:

Milk chocolate centers mixed with Pumpkin Butter and spiced coated in Dark Chocolate and topped with candied orange peel or dusted with nutmeg. (Previously sold in 2008)

Peach Blueberry:

Chocolate ganache combined with peach preserves and blueberry syrup, coated in Dark Chocolate and topped with a sprinkle of edible glitter.  (new 2011 flavor)

Raspberry:

Decadent raspberry syrup is added to our dark chocolate centers and coated with Dark Chocolate finished with a dusting of cocoa powder. (previously sold in 2008)

Orange Vanilla:

Cream is infused with vanilla bean and then combined with chocolate and orange syrup.  Truffles are coated in Dark Chocolate and finished with vanilla cane sugar.  (new 2011 flavor)

Earl Grey:

Cream is infused with Tazo Earl Grey tea and then combined with Chocolate.  Truffles are coated in Dark Chocolate and left unadorned.  (new 2011 flavor)

Voting will continue until Friday afternoon/evening.  If you would like to read the reviews from the taste testers you can do so here.

One more thing…

We are always looking for sales people for Sweet Hope.  This is a great way to help us get the word out about our organization.  We send you a small sample box of plain chocolate truffles and you take orders.  If you work in an office this is your opportunity to get all of your co-workers back for making you purchase things for their child’s school fundraisers.

One of our volunteers takes orders from her customers and they pay her the money.  She then inputs the order as one giant one and we ship all of the orders directly to her. (actually, she comes to our house to pick the order up)  This way she can corner them in their cubicle and force them persuade them to buy.

If you are interested in being a Sweet Hope sales person please email me at elle at lifeofelle dot com.

    hey you!

So excited I’m ahead of the game this year. Please make sure I’m on your list cause I def want to buy some. I just happened to see the blog post on FB. I may have accidently voted for raspberry twice if it skews your poll.

I’d be a sales person for you, but with baby on the way not such a good idea… maybe next year! Ü

It’s still OK to “stuff” the ballot box, right?

I’m torn between peach blueberry and spicy Jamaican. Hm…
I’m also available to help in the making, wrapping, and boxing. I wish my sales dept. wasn’t so sad… everyone I know is unemployed. 🙁

Mom, you can always vote for both and multiple times.

I just noticed when I popped over here to vote that you have 2 posts since the last time I read. The new ones didn’t come through my feedreader. So when you fixed your website, did you break Google Reader? That take skillz my sista.

Liv, It is probably because of the new theme. Click the rss icon in the upper right of the site to get the new rss feed address.
