I have nothing better to do

You get a Sunday post because I have nothing better to do. I barely made to church this morning and sat through the service in agony. We had lunch with the in-laws who filled me full of drugs and by the end of the meal I was feeling much better. For the record this illness has gone on for close to two weeks and frankly I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired. Therefore I’m not going to talk about it anymore, with the exception of telling you how bad my ear is after I see the doc tomorrow.

The sun is shining her. What a beautiful day. With any luck I can peel the trusty husband away from the movie he is currently watching so he can dig holes in the yard for me. Hmm, what do you think? Cool Runnings or digging holes in the yard. Why in the name of all that is holy is he watching Cool Runnings? Do you people see what I live with here.

  1. Feel the rhythm, feel the ride, get on board, it’s bobsled time!

It was nice here today, too. Which is good because we had a sudden dip back into sweatshirt and umbrella weather. I actually got to go work in my garden today.

I hope you’re feeling better soon. This has really hung on.

  2. We missed you today!

And check it out — we cleaned out like six bags of *bleep* old toys out of the storage room! With only minor kid fits!

  3. This is an unusually long illness. ARe you sure you aren’t stressed or is something going on that is compromising your immune system? I hope the doc can fix you up.
