We made it home safe and sound. I have to gloat a little though. My kid is an awesome flier! He did amazing on both flights. He entertained himself, he didn’t cry and even let me change a diaper on the way up and the way down. He was so good on the flight home that the trusty husband and I got to watch a movie. And that’s another thing… I have to give props to Continental Airline. While all the other domestic airlines have cheaped out and now make you pay $5 for a little can of Pringles, Continental feeds you. Like a real meal. We had chicken sandwiches with salad. And the wine (that you still have to buy in coach) wasn’t some crappy ass Sutter Home junk. The red was Fish Eye Merlot. In a little bottle. Not some skimpy little cup that costs $45. However, by the time I got off the plane I looked like a total lush. The kid in front of me reclined his seat and it hit my wine bottle sending it onto my lap and the boy. The only drawback of the flight is that the significant lack of leg room. Flying with a man that is 6’4″ is never fun, but add the fact that you can’t sit in an exit row because you are traveling with a toddler and puny leg room, after 3 hours you are feeling his pain.
All in all it was a good trip. I have some tips on vacationing with a 2 year old, but for now I have projects. This after I speed cleaned my house for the appraiser who spent 5 minutes in my home. I wanted to show him the sparkling clean toilets just on GPs.
Welcome home. I enjoyed your tales of Alaska!

Welcome home!
Do I suspect a sale of some sort, you lush????
I agree – Continental always gives us a meal and free headsets for the movie. But they all suck when it comes to leg room!
It always feels great to come home to your own bed π Enjoy! Glad you had a nice time!
