Back in the saddle again

Stalking the FedEx guy was a lot like stalking the mail carrier during our adoption wait.? I could hardly contain myself when I saw his shiny white truck pull up in front of my house yesterday.? I really really wanted to hug him.? I restrained.? Now if the UPS guy that just drove by was delivering my books I’d be happy, but evidently Barnes & Noble dot com has a different definition of 2 day express delivery than I do.

Needless to say, my fancy new pen tablet arrived yesterday.? It’s big and black and pretty.? I luuurve it.? I’d take a photo of it, but I have no clue where my camera is at the moment.

It’s going to take some getting used to though.? The mouse is bigger, the pen is longer (and the buttons don’t quite work right on that) and the whole thing is twice the size of my old one.? So now the keyboard doesn’t fit quite right on the desk and I have to reach extra far to close a window on my right screen.? But it has fancy new port sucking buttons.? One is programmed to switch to the desktop, one is a toggle between open windows and the other two are back and forward.? Ooo, I am in love with it.? Imagine me making smoochy sounds.? Yeah, that.? I may or may not have actually kissed the box when it arrived.

So Carla, your logo should be done some time this week and Beth, I should be able to get started on your stuff.? I’m soooo excited.

oooh, I’ve been wanting that tablet set! My little 4×6 is just too small.

and I have to say I got SO excited to see my name…then realized it wasn’t me. LOL Ah well. One day we’ll have to talk designs. I’m serious, the business website stuff needs a complete overhaul, but sticking to branding colors (blech)
