You know you want to be me

Yes, admitting that I scrapbook is a little like admitting that I secretly like to wear pink all day every day. Which I so don’t. I have flaming red hair and pink looks a little funky on me. (but I still do wear it on occasion) So don’t judge me on liking to scrapbook. I think of it more as exercises in flexing my design muscles.

This week consisted of being smacked repeatedly by my child, a few trips to the park, the boy getting his first professional hair cut, grocery shopping, and a half-assed attempt at laundry. Don’tcha wish you were me? That’s my life full of fun and frivolity.

So to make up for a serious lack of funny her are some photos.
Our day at the park sporting that new haircut:

But damn I’m cute:

See I throw some photos at you and you forgive me already. Happy Easter.

That picture of him on the slide needs to be submitted to your local child model rep. He looks great! I’d buy pudding based on that picture.

I love the pics. I also gave in and took our kids in for professional cuts. It wasn’t worth my frustration anymore.

  6. OMG, so much cuteness.

As for the scrapbooking, yeah, there is some judgement out there about it, but I say: Be proud, young scrapbooker, be not ashamed!

I wear pink all day every day in the summer. (seriously) so I guess my scrapbooking comment came back to smack me in the …….

The boy is just too cute for words. Too bad we aren’t closer, he could have the girls as prom dates and look like a stud (unless their teeth stay the way they are coming in, giant and crooked).

    Happy Easter!

I absolutely LOVE that photo of the boy on the slide. Well done.

As for scrapbooking, I’ve been sucked in by all the pretty papers too. I wish I was better at actually designing the pages though. If you can get 30 done, I will be seriously impressed! And a little envious. 🙂

    Happy Easter!

  13. I really like the poem in the side bar. I miss poetry. I used to write it a lot. I don’t know what happened.

I hope you guys had a great Easter and yes- I want to be you- except with blue hair- and less rain. That way I can wear pink and there will be more sunny days (you live near Seattle). I am not sure about being married to a superhero though. Did you see that ex-super girlfriend movie?
