You would think that since it’s my birthday I should be all philosophical about how I should be wiser now that I’m getting older or that I should be living life to its fullest. ?You would think.
Not so much.
My 30th birthday was kind of a blur. ?So much so that I didn’t even do the blogging that day. My 31st birthday was rather uneventful. Just good friends. My 32nd birthday was simple. I liked that.
This year I’m looking at my birthday a little differently. ?I’m once again realizing that it is ok for me to take time for myself. ?364 days a year I am totally dedicated to my husband and child. ?I cook, clean, shop. ?I rarely take time for myself and I’m losing a little part of me because of it. ?This year I am going to celebrate being me. ?I don’t quite know what I’m going to do yet, but whatever it is I’ll try to do it with a smile on my face.
And next saturday… the return of the really awesome party (only without the $80 cake).
Happy Birthday!
Yup and Yup!
