I’m struggling with what my blog is to me these days too…but I can’t give it up. It was such a huge part of my life for a little chunk of time that I can’t seem to say goodbye to it yet. I keep waiting for it to find its purpose again…maybe when I find mine.

I’ve always wanted a cool nickname. But I’ve never had one. As a child, my family (except my Dad) and family friends called me Shelly. I hated it. It took me years to break my family of it. Hated it. In high school and for awhile when I first started working after college (due to another Michelle), I was Mikki. I never minded it but it wasn’t me. My dad hated it – he said if he wanted me to be called anything else, he would have named me something else. After I left that job and the next one, Mikki faded away. My husband tried to give me a nickname but it didn’t stick. I’m just Michelle.

OMG, I bought a 2# corned beef from Trader Joe’s yesterday and thought I seriously had died and went to heaven. This corned beef puts all other corned beef to shame. Seriously, it’s addictive. I have to admit that withing the span of less than 12 hours, I consumed about a pound of it!!!!! Note that it’s March 2012…you posted in 2008. May your blog live on!

Aww, that wasn’t too horribly stupid. I have done worse, far worse, and lived to tell about it. You are just testing out your limits. Now take it easy for another day and try a little something else. But just a little. Pace yourself. And drink good wine, eat good cheese and pamper yourself a little!

Speaking as the Other Lisa (Liese) in the family, I beg to differ. We adopted the name Missy for you because it DOES fit. You are little, fun, cute and a bit sassy…I’d say Missy fits you to a T. You may not feel like one, but in my heart, you’ll always be my lil’ sis Missy. Mwah!
