But, Elle, I'll take your word for it that Cake is great and it does sound like a great way to ring in the New Year. We never do anything exciting on NYE either for similar reasons as yours. Once (2006), we spent a week in Jamaica with friends that was over New Years and rang in the New Year to fireworks on the beach while the kids slept inside the villa. That sort of made up for all the other years of falling asleep on the couch to Dick Clark. Happy New Year to you and yours. Hope 2010 is everything you want it to be!
