Where the hell have I been?  Oh that’s right… last week I was drinking the worst Sani-tea to cure a horrible nasty ugly bout of wanting to throw myself against the wall.  I churned out gardening posts to make sure you didn’t worry about me then went tets up.  Along about Saturday night things started looking up and I made it through the weekend on a manic high.

This week I’ve been working my butt off and am looking forward to a nice relaxing rest of the week.  Oh what’s that I hear?  The church website isn’t working?  I’m the one in charge of that?  Are you sure the musicians need to know what songs are coming up.  They’re church songs.  They all sound the same don’t they.  Fine.  I’ll fix it.

In the mean time we made some huge strides in parenting.  We felt it was time to teach the child important life skill like how to hang a spoon on your nose,

Like father like son,

And how to make a wine glass sing,

And how to be a homey.

Fine parenting skills, indeed! Just like mine. We taught Iliya how to show us his “grill” this past weekend. Yep. Just another way to say, “smile!”

A true “like father, like son” moment!!

Wow, those photos brought back the memories! Shari’s on a late night, going to the lake with everyone (I have a photo of Terry in that homey position), and general goofiness that high schoolers will do!
