If you recall, I gave you all the opportunity to sign up to be official Go Purple Participants. I even gave you an incentive. Free chocolate. Who doesn’t like free chocolate? I had 19 blogger sign up. Impressive. But I know there were more of you out there. Anyway, Wednesday night I was bored and thought I should come up with something to write about on Friday. Gotta fulfill that NaBloPoMo obligation (gawd what was I thinking? 7 more days, 7 more days)
Instead of waiting until the end of the month we did the drawing Wednesday night. It was a highly sophisticated drawing I might add. I wrote everyone’s names down on pieces of paper and put them into a shoe box. Then the trusty husband pulled one name out. See… highly sophisticated. No? I can’t even claim it was a designer shoe box. It was a Hillard & Hanson. So not my shoes.
Anyway… the lovely winner of a box of Sweet Hope Truffles is Chelley at Nobody Said There’d. What’s better is that Chelley even used the right shade of purple! Not that it was a requirement, but I just think that shade is pretty. So go giver her some congratulations.
Don’t worry. There will be opportunities to win other things in the future. I like giving things away.
